Our sophomore class trip to Washington, DC was absolutely fantastic. The students were able to experience firsthand the rich history they are studying in AP US history in addition to touring Howard University and envisioning themselves as students there one day. One thing that made our trip this year nearly seamless was our travel with Colonial Tours. Your driver Marc Canney was timely and safe, the bus was clean, and having a bus available made our transportation effortless! In the past, we’ve wasted hours of time taking public transportation to all the sites outside DC, such as Mount Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery. However, this year, your driver was able to bring us to the sites quickly so that we could spend more time learning rather than riding subways. In addition, I truly appreciated how helpful and responsive you were in the planning process. Going out of your way to help us find the best price for parking in DC was certainly above and beyond the call of duty, and we so appreciate you helping save us hundreds of dollars that way – in addition to the fact that you were able to offer us the best price for bus service around! We appreciate all you did to help make our trip so successful.

I was very pleased with the transportation services delivered by Colonial Tours for our Hudson River Valley Tour September 13th through September 17th. Your driver, Gary Peart, was excellent and simply could not have been more accommodating to our comfort and requests. The bus was comfortable - obviously larger than our small group of eighteen needed - but the extra room added to our comfort. It was a wonderful trip aided considerably by your great service.

I would be very happy to recommend Colonial Tours to anyone—but especially groups that are looking for personalized, customized service. We were delighted with our 9-day stay in the Boston area, due mainly to the efficiency and flexibility of your company in helping us to work out a very complicated itinerary. We were able to make all of our appointments absolutely on time and spend extra time at events when the time was available. We are already looking forward to next year’s trip and enhancing are historical sites and college visits accordingly. We’re coming back, mainly because of your thoughtful and considerate service both in pre-arrangements and throughout our stay….and please save Juni for us! We had a wonderful trip! Marc is an amazing person–very capable and organized, but also extremely accommodating and happy to do anything we wanted to do. We got first-class treatment in that department–it couldn’t have been better. We didn’t have any problems with respect to drop-offs and pick-ups (apart from a few glitches on my end). Everything went as smoothly as it possibly could. Thanks for being so accommodating about my many inquiries and requests, and for always getting back to me immediately with your answers and updates. The Somerville Council on Aging has had awsome drivers to take our elders all over the place. No trip is to close or to far for Colonial Tours.I have had terrific service from Laura in the front office and am always glad to work with her.
